Use of communications: sources of professional communications

The main thing that it is necessary to tell about professional communications, it that in them there is nothing mystical. Professional communications is no more than absolutely natural and inevitable consequence of professional work and should be perceived and in any way differently.

Adjustment of professional communications begins earlier, than it would be possible to assume. Entering into a circle of your professional contacts relatives, possibly, are familiar to you since the earliest childhood. The same concerns and your school friends. Recently the tendency to more and more wide introduction of vocational training and vocational guidance in average and higher education system that is why people visiting one school or college, quite often find of themselves application in one branch is accurately traced or are engaged in adjacent kinds of professional work.
 
The openness for dialogue with the former messmates on college becomes, thus, a good basis for creation of the rallied circle of mutual aid and mutual support (almost communications between owners of degree of the master of business administration, graduates of the most known business schools are legendary).

However, for the majority of us real formation of a circle of professional acquaintances begins with the beginning of labour activity. We immediately come into contact to set of people with which we appear incorporated general interests and practical activities experience. Link presence is obvious, and that we will call further your internal communications, starts to develop and develop little by little.

With a current of years the most different changes are possible:

• your nearest colleagues can promote, that means, that your internal communications start to extend upwards.

• Colleagues can leave the company, and your communications, accordingly, to get the external branches extending on other firms and the organisations.

• you can go on increase, start to divide the everyday life and cares with new colleagues at higher level so, the sphere of your contacts will extend also.

• At last, you can pass in other company and start to form new internal communications, thus that former contacts become for you external.

The resulted list of similar changes far is not full. Professional communications expand set of other ways, and all it is a part of a usual daily life. We will result some more examples:

• From time to time you can work together with the time employees involved with experts-advisers, executors of single works, the people working under short-term contracts, with those who divides time between several types of works (портфельными workers). Owing to specificity of the work these people often possess an extensive knowledge about external in relation to your company to environment that is why acquaintance to them can appear for you rather useful.

• At those or other stages of own professional work you can appear in position mentioned above professional categories, that aloud will affect a circle of your business acquaintances.

• it is quite probable, that you should raise qualification on special curriculums where you will meet your colleagues from other companies. Presence of the general interests and a similar kind of work are obvious.

• you can enter professional association or the group uniting people of a speciality similar to you. Here you also have an opportunity to come into contact to representatives of other firms dividing with you one interests and experience of professional work.

• it is possible, from time to time you will offer the nominee on employment of vacant posts. Thus you will get acquainted not only with responsible for decision-making in other companies, but also with rather useful people: with advisers for selection and personnel hiring (is more detailed about it further in sew to the book).

• your work can assume dialogue with an external world, say, in the name of clients and suppliers. And that is even more interesting, so it is contacts to competitors within the limits of professional associations and groups on the general interests. There you can learn more close the colleagues from other companies.

Sources of professional communications, thus, are rather various, and the cut of your business contacts and acquaintances for any concrete moment of time in actual fact will appear very wide and rich with the most different people.
