Many in England considered its unduly self-confident. Its biographers underline, that this line distinguished Мэгги since the childhood. At Thatcher there are not enough friends. To a few time remains on reading of books. Sometimes before a dream she likes to esteem popular detectives. It likes Agatha Christie's stories, takes a great interest Маргарет and the serious theological literature. Is at it and the hobby – a collecting of porcelain products. In October, 1984, on the eve of opening of conference of conservative party in Brighton, there were events which have shaken England. Margaret Thatcher, ministers and other delegates of conference have settled down in "Grand Hotel". Fortunately, the secretary has come into this moment to it with papers, and the huge explosion which has destroyed a considerable part of a building was suddenly distributed. In these conditions when any person, in particular the woman could follow and other explosions, could become puzzled, give in to a panic. Any, but not Thatcher which has completely kept self-control. In the same morning it has appeared on television, and in the half tenth mornings, precisely in due time, has opened conference and in quiet tone has said the speech.
 
The Russian diplomats nevertheless consider: Thatcher loves, when in it see the attractive woman, and enjoys possibility to be well and beautifully dressed. According to the daughter, in this house decades egoism and estrangement corrected.
