By then us was four women on Avenue Park, in such wonderful September day, and it was simply unforgettable. So doubts which at me were, in the first week did not disturb me. Within this week process of shootings only was adjusted and started. It became heavy when my heroine, Kerry Бредшоу, has started to test emotions which were not familiar before to it, and it was very painful. It has appeared unpleasant unexpectedness, but it was the role of the whole life. No, I would not began to escape from a role. I ran to it towards, but was very sad to observe, that occurs to my heroine. I have been very proud, shaken and have tested simplification concerning that to us have allowed to remove this history, but it was uneasy.
• As you consider, why «Sex in the big city» so is close стольким to people?
- Ten years ago it was a new wave. There are many books which it is possible to read and tell: « In books between women the close relations, lasting many years ». But before we never saw this friendship shown on TV, and especially did not see behind this voice television channel HBO (Home Box Office). I mean that if the serial went on the network channel, we could not tell these histories how we have made it. Just because HBO was out of a field of vision, they worked in another way. Unless someone sometime placed teleserial advertising on Square Tajms? Or formed groups of women in the different countries and gathered them for serial viewing, and then listened, what they speak in this occasion and adhered it to a spirit of the age? • Why the command of producers has decided to remove a feature film instead of removing the next season of a teleserial?
- In plans there were film shootings. Two years ago, in April, 2006, I took a telephone tube and have started to reunite a command. And in the end of summer of 2006 to us Michael, and the unique reason why we have not invited him earlier has joined, there was that I knew, Michael could not here so to arrive and start to consider idea, that it it takes simple and will write the scenario. Would be very reckless to assume for my part it, not having any real operating time. I do not think, that Michael and I would want to return to the serial form. Our private life has changed. I have a son and as I already spoke, he wants, that I was a number. Now not its time to leave, and film shootings is a final interval of time, and here, look, that has turned out two years later.
• In the technical plan, whether it was difficult to collect actor's structure from a serial for film shootings?
- It was not the challenge in the course of film manufacture. (Laughs.) I will tell only, that with men it was not easier, than with women so reject all myths and hearings. No, technical nuances …. Formal aspects were the most difficult in creation of this film. We very long received the permission to shootings. We needed to find base. For me it was important, that we still worked about Time Уорнер that it was someone who would concern this project as to own as we with Michael who would like to tell that history which we wanted, and it not a traditional romantic comedy. It was necessary to work the brightest scenes, and to collect again our command, and all to think over in the shortest terms. It were simply ridiculous terms, and in it there was a complexity. Michael Patrick has started to script on January, 19th, and on May, 1st it has sat down in the plane and has arrived with already ready scenario. I think, it was most quickly written film script in all history of cinema. So, all it was the most difficult part. How with people? Not so difficult. I think, that anyhow all very much wished to be there and to participate.
• Public, most likely, will want a sequel. How you consider, whether you can reunite again all?
- No, I do not try to evade from the answer to this question. To reach this moment was the unique professional purpose of my life last two years. I did not think at all that I will be so to sit here here today and to tell about this film. I swear, that I can not get used to thought in any way, that I and Michael we speak about a film, we do not believe, that it occurs. We cannot believe, that our dream has come true. Therefore, to wish something moreover that we have reached, at least, greedy. In any case, it not from us depends. You will have a opinion, the same as and at your colleagues on all country and then we will suit a meeting. It was the dream. To wish большего it it is simply indecent, the truth.
• Tell, please, in brief about suits and in particular about this belt (a belt with rivets which is used in a film).
- At Пэт Филд (costumier) there were some colleagues in work on a film as shootings is an action of large scale. There there was a man by name of Дэнни, from Florida. It had a whole warehouse old, винтажной clothes, and this belt was used at the first примерке in July. I have entered, and we began to examine, and there there were literally hundreds and hundred shelves. There there was also this belt. When we have started to work with clothes, I all time caught at this belt, again and again. I so much time took it in hands that began to name its Roger. We simply spoke: «And where Roger? Give me Roger, Roger that, Roger it». It is simply old belt of 70th years, without a label, and the designer is unknown. And I am glad to inform you, that he at me in a private use (smiles) now.
• Why it was important to keep as fiduciary a scenario line?
- Well, it actually is not important – to keep it secret. It will shake nobody, will not affect in any way political conditions, will not solve world problems.

I personally savour each disappointment and each regret, each small victory about which anybody can and not know.
